Architect Frank Lloyd Wright, and families of the Goulds and Vanderbilts were some of the many permanent, distinguished world renowned guests at the time of opening.  No expense was spared on the 19 story French Renaissance Chateau with its elaborate marble lobbies, solid mahogany doors, 1,650 crystal chandeliers, gold leaf moldings, dramatic ceilings with ornate embellishments and oh . .  . so much more.  After a recent renovation spearheaded by Ivana Trump, everything is as it was always meant to be.

815 guest rooms and suites, including a notable group of historically themed apartment suites.  All rooms are beautifully restored with elegant period details including marble fireplaces, crystal chandeliers, large dressers, and spacious closets with satin covered hangers.  Bathrooms feature black onyx, ceilings with floral murals, and fine amenities.
