CALEB JOHNSON
Founder of the Palmolive Soap Co.
Inn: Former winter estate of the Johnson family. Now located on six acres, the home was built in 1923 in the 1920’s grand style with manicured gardens, majestic oaks and aromatic magnolias. The estate still stands as one of the finest accommodations in Florida. In 1967, Johnson’s grandson converted the property into a country club, and later added guest housing open to the public.

Accommodations:
7 guest rooms in the mansion, and 15 riverside suites. All individually decorated in romantic, old world ambiance with carved Italian beds (some with canopies) and antiques from around the world. All rooms offer private river front balconies and dynamic views. The River Suites feature fireplaces, Jacuzzis, four poster king sized beds, and so much more.
