The tranquil peace and serenity of snow-capped mountains and lush green forests were a perfect escape for Hefner; however, in the mid-1980’s, he relinquished his dream of linking his 43 acre resort to a ski area. The property was sold to Ambassador Harriman. The cabaret theater remains a remnant of the days when Playboy Bunnies assisted entertainers with their acts. Famous “Bunny Hutches” also remain.
